We lived in Seoul from 2006-2009, and ended up loving it. It definitely was an acquired taste, but once you get the hang of things, it's actually a pretty nice place to live in many ways. I miss it a lot, and have leaped on every chance possible to return for a visit. Money can be a bit of an issue (it's crazy expensive for housing), but if your bloke has a great new job, that shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I loved my IF clinic in Korea also, so if some reason (e.g., geography) Kat's doesn't make sense for you, feel free to get in touch.Sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02747382929049494704noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-538917151573217678.post-37394316325392347772011-04-30T13:30:48.252-07:002011-04-30T13:30:48.252-07:00You certainly lead an exciting life... China then ...You certainly lead an exciting life... China then Korea ! You're an amazing person and so brave to be dealing with IF/IVF in a different country... I can't even manage it in my own country. Thinking of you for this cycle and sending you lots of growing sticky vibes xoxoDandelionBreezehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06988561541523178095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-538917151573217678.post-77160070892716644482011-04-30T07:03:01.137-07:002011-04-30T07:03:01.137-07:00i find it's way more fun to do life changing e...i find it's way more fun to do life changing events in groups of three, just like you're about to get to do.

hoping you're getting tons of eggs at this moment!~ebc~https://www.blogger.com/profile/13783967197652377712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-538917151573217678.post-74000525485477942812011-04-30T05:27:07.533-07:002011-04-30T05:27:07.533-07:00While the move might be stressful, living in Seoul...While the move might be stressful, living in Seoul usually isn't. I expect it's much more foreigner friendly than shanghai, especially if you move to gangnam, yeouido or yongsan. I vote for yongsan, because it's much easier to get foreign products and stuff. Also, hanguel, the Korean alphabet is really easy to learn and very logical, much easier than Chinese characters. Once you can read things are much easier. I know I don't need to sell Korea, as you're coming anyway, but I just wanted to try and make you feel a bit better. Also, after living in china I expect it will be a breeze for you both! I hope you won't need it, but as you know my clinic is English speaking.

Can't wait for the egg collection update!Kathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13196968417331947398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-538917151573217678.post-27992052241003672432011-04-30T04:57:50.738-07:002011-04-30T04:57:50.738-07:00Wow! Well...first...I want to say that, although it will be stressful, if any person is strong enough to manage the timing of this move, it is you. You are awesome and you really have a knack for taking things in stride. Second...I am sending you the happiest of thoughts for your eggs and the bloke's sperm. Can't wait to hear how it goes.Princess Wahna Bea Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13525236950612612052noreply@blogger.com
